AGO-OVAR 12/LUME-Ovar 1 is a multicentre, randomized, double-blind Phase III trial to investigate the efficacy and safety of BIBF 1120* in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel compared with placebo plus carboplatin and paclitaxel in patients with advanced ovarian cancer. AGO-OVAR 12 is a joint collaboration between several participating Academic Study Groups led by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Gynäkologische Onkologie, Studiengruppe Ovarialkarzinom (AGO-OVAR). The Coordinating Investigator is Prof. Dr. Andreas du Bois (Wiesbaden, Germany).
